Spring Clean May 2026

On Saturday 16 May, our Clean-Up group carried out a targeted clean on Johnstown Avenue Green, a well-used local space enjoyed daily by families, children and dog walkers.

The team focused on the full green, including the denser, overgrown areas along the sides where rubbish had been accumulating out of sight.

What we removed:
Approximately 15 bags of rubbish
Fly-tipped furniture including tables, 4 chairs and 3 christmas trees.

A sincere thank you to everyone who gave their time today, it made a real difference.
