Our first leaf drop-off day is this Saturday, 31 October, from 10am to 11am, at the new leaf mould composting cages on the green at Johnstown Avenue.
Between 10am and 11am you can bring along any bags of clean, wet leaves you've gathered from your garden or the road, and JRA volunteers will be on hand to help fill the cages. Over the next two to three years, the leaves will break down into rich leaf mould for use around the community and in residents' gardens.
Please bring:
Deciduous leaves only
No twigs, grass cuttings, other garden waste or rubbish
Please note that space across the two cages is limited, so drop-off is on a first come, first served basis.
